CSS components

In the PRIMERGY RX600 S5 server, the following components are considered
to be CSS components:
– Hot-plug components
– Hot-plug power supply units (see page 93)
– Hot-plug fans (see page 97)
– Hot-plug HDD modules (see page 100)
– Hot-plug memory boards (see page 115)
– Expansion cards in hot-plug PCIe slots (slots 6 & 7 only, see page 107)
You can expand or replace the hot-plug components during operation.
– Non-hot-plug components
– Expansion cards in non-hot-plug slots (see page 122)
These components can be changed by you in the event of an error.
Expansions and upgrades may only be carried out by authorized specialist
personnel.
