<Setting Items>
Each setting item is described below.
Settings you can change for scanning in Quick Menu Mode differ from those in Profile
Mode.
For your convenience, each item is marked with a following symbol:
: Items that can be set in Quick Menu Mode
: Items that can be set in Profile Mode
* Items with no mark can be changed in both modes.
Select a Profile:
You can switch between profiles configured beforehand by selecting a profile in the [Select a
Profile] pop-up menu.
By default, the following profiles are in the pop-up menu.
• Standard
• Scan to Folder
• Scan to E-mail
• Scan to Print
• iPhoto (This appears when iPhoto version 5 or later is installed. iPhoto 5 is supported by
Mac OS X v10.3.4 or later.)
• Scan to Searchable PDF (only when ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap is installed)
• Cardiris (only when Cardiris 3.6 for ScanSnap is installed)
