4.3.3 Handset: Register Terminal Number and Password
(Mandatory)
Step-3) Settings -> SIP -> Client set
According to the list created in Step-2, make the settings for the Handset extension
number; extension Number, Password, and Nickname. The setting can be made via;
Settings -> SIP -> Client set.
For other settings within the SIP menu, refer to page 4-18.
Procedure)
1. Open; Settings -> SIP -> Client set.
2. Enter the extension “Number”, “Password”, and Nickname.
x Number :
Enter the 4-digit “Number” from 1000 to 9999 which had been set via
Settings -> PBX Settings -> Extension in the Web MMI.
x Password :
Set the password of 1 to 8 characters which had been set via Settings -> PBX
Settings -> Extension in the Web MMI.
x Nickname :
This does not have to be the same with what was entered in “Note” via
Settings -> PBX Settings -> Extension in the Web MMI. The registered
“Nickname” will be displayed on the Handset of the called Handset when
making extension calls, and the called person will know who is making the
call. Up to 50 characters may be input in the field.
