Replacing the keyboard cover
To replace the keyboard cover:
1 Disconnect the AC adapter and modem and network cables, then prepare the
notebook by following the instructions in “Preparing the notebook” on page 6.
2 Turn the notebook over so the bottom is facing up.
3 Remove the battery by following the instructions in “Removing the battery” on
page 7.
4 Turn the notebook over so the top is facing up.
5 Open the LCD panel to the fully open position.
6 Slide the keyboard cover to the right, then lift the cover off the notebook.
Caution Be careful not to use too much force when opening the LCD panel.
