Placing a Phone Call
1.Liftthe handsetor pressthe SPEAKERPHONEbutton and wait for a dialtone.
2.Dialthetelephonenumber youwishto call.
B.Youcan alsodialthe number onthe keypadfirst, then pressthe SPEAKERPHONE
button to dialout. ThescreendisplaysPREDIAL.In caseofa mistakeinentering
the number,pressthe DELETEbutton to erasethelast digit.
8.Youcan adjustthe volumeof the caller'svoiceby pressingthe
VOLUME(+or -) buttons.
Switching between Speakerphone and Handset
Youcanswitch betweenspeakerphoneand handsetwhilethe phone isdialing a
number,or anytimeduringa conversation.
• Speakerphoneto Handset- Pickup the handset.
• Handsetto Speakerphone- Pressthe SPEAKERPHONEbutton,then hang up
handset.
Temporary Tone Dialing
Ifyou havepulseservice,you can temporarilychange from pulseto tone service.
Afterdialingthe telephonenumber,pressand releasethe TONE(*)button on
thetelephone.Thisallowsaccessto phoneservicesthat requireatone, suchas
bankingand long-distanceservices.Afteryou hangup the handset,the telephone
automaticallyreturnsto pulseservice.
Flash
Pressthe FLASH/E×ITbutton to activate customercallingservicessuchas call
waiting or calltransfer,which areprovidedbyyour localphonecompany.
