WhenreviewingCallerIDrecords,youmay dial backthe phonenumbersshown on
thedisplayby pressingthe DIALbutton.
If you programmed your local areacode in the setup menu
1.Usethe SKIPor REPEATbutton to scrollto the numberyou want to dial.
• Ifyou seea numberwith 7digits (i.e.555-1238),thenthe call was receivedfrom
within yourareacode.However,thisdoesnotguarantee the callis a localcall.
• Ifyou seea numberwith 11digits(i.e.1-238-555-1234),thenthe call receivedwas
notfrom your areacode.
2.Pressthe DIALbutton and thescreendisplaysPICKUPor ADJ.A 10second
timer alsostarts in the upperright sideofthe display,lettingyou knowthetime
remaininguntil the unitreturnsto the SummaryScreen.Ifyouadjustthe number to
bedialed,the timer automatically resetsitself.
3.Toadjustthe phonenumber,pressthe DIALbutton. Forinstance,a 7-digitlocal
numbersometimescannot bedialedbecauseit requiresa lO-digit or 11-digit
format. Pressthe DIALbutton repeatedlyto scrollthrough the 7,10,and 11-digit
numbers.
