Whilethe unit isin ready-to-answermode,pressand holdthe DELETEbutton until
theunit announces,"Messogeserosed."
• Newmessagescan not beerasedin thisway. Toerasenew messages,playthem
thenpressthe DELETEbutton during playback.
Leaving a Memo
Usethe MEMObutton to recorda specificmessagefor otherswho haveaccessto
the unit.
1.Pressand holdthe MEMObutton.Theunit announces:"Recordyour memoafter
the tone."
2.Recordyour messageafter the beep.
3.Releasethe MEMObutton whenyou'refinishedtalking.Theunit treats the memo
asa message,asthe displayshows.
Memory Full
Whenthe unit'smemory isfull, it answersafter 10ringsand announces:"Memory
is full. Nomessageswill be recorded."A20-secondwaiting periodfollows,allowing
youto enteryour securitycode.
Remote Access
Youcanaccessyour answererfrom any touch-tone phonefrom anotherlocation
byentering your3-digit securitycode (thedefault securitycodeis 12 3, butyou can
changeit.)Beaware that remotefunctionsdo not work with rotary or push-button
pulse-dialingphones.
