fuse

consists

This
devi
ce
is
furnished
on
all
AKU
bre~ers,
breaker
fuse
combinations
and L

protectors

after
August,. 1960. The
devices
are
mo
unted
on
the
left
hand
side
of
the
breaker
(looking
from
front).
The
purpose
of
this
device.·
is
to
trip
the
.
breaker
upon
the
blowing
of
any
one
of
the
breakers
fuses
.
OPERATION .
When any orie of
the
breakers
fuses
blow·
the
co
il
(6),
in
th
at
particular
phase,
is
energized
and
the
ar
mature
(8)
closes.
The
_
armature
(8)
moving
to
the
closed
air
gap
position
engages
the
trip
paddle
(1) and
trips
the
breake
r. W
ith
the
armatu

ing
the
arm
