How to Set the Upper Oven for Convection Roasting when Using the Probe
Thedisplay will flash PROBEand the oven
control will signal if the probe isinserted into
the outlet, and you have not set a probe
temperature and touched the STARTpad.

Placethe rack inthe rack position(A).Insert
the probe completely into the food.
Plugthe probe into the outlet in the oven.
Hake sure it ispushed all the way in. Close
the oven door.
After the internal temperature of the food
reaches 100°F,the changing internal
temperature will be shown in the display.

[] Touch the CONVECTIONROASTpad.
r_ Touch the number padsto set the desired
oven temperature.
[] Touch the PROBEpad.
r_ Touch the number padsto set
the desired internal food temperature. NOTE:
Tochange the oven temperature during
the Convection Roastcycle,touch the
CONVECTIONROASTpad and then touch
the number pads to set the new desired
temperature.
[] Touch the STARTpad.
When the oven starts to heat,the word LO will
be inthe display.
When the internal temperature of the
food reaches the number you have set,
the probe and the oven turn off and the
ovencontrol signals.Tostop the signal,
touch the CLEAR/OFFpad, Usehot pads
to remove the probe from the food. Do
not usetongs to pull on it-they might
damage it.
CAUTION: Toprevent possible
burns,do not unplug the probe from the
oven outlet until the ovenhas cooled.Do
not store the probe in theoven.
If the proOeisremoved from the food before
the final temperature isreached,a tone will
sound and the display will flash untilthe
probe is removed from the oven.
You will hear a fan whilecooking with this
feature.Thefan will stop when the door is
opened but the heat will not turn o£
Youcan usethe timer even thoughyou
cannot usetimed oven operations while
using theprobe.
