Examining an Error Log
To examine the error log, execute the UTILITY program and use the READ/WRITE MAGNETIC DISK BLOCK
command. The log starts at location 78Hex and is up to 6 blocks in length. The program displays 8 words/line
(each 24 word entry is three lines long). The log is cleared when the Optical Platter is closed. The following
error descriptions are for determining the error type (by decoding the entry in WORD 0 of each log entry.

037 Unable to free up cache for pending disk write; Rollout failed
03C Disk write error (Cache write)
046 Optical Read error during first sector concatenation

055 Cache write error during Last sector concatenation
05F Error backing up SCRUB directory
069 Write to close platter exceeded allowable block count size

073 Bad Optical Media (Bad sector) - ODD can handle this
