Commands Function
FULL Total software formatting of disk. Finds bad blocks using up to 5
scans of the disk, allows you to enter other blocks as bad, and logs
this information so RDOS will not use them. You may use defaults or
set values for the disk’s frame size, the bad block table size, and the
remap area’s size and physical disk location. DKINIT writes an
identification block with this information.
PARTIAL Bad block scan with update. The disk revision # may also be updated.
TEST Bad blocks scan with no updates performed.
LIST Output includes a list of any bad blocks, the disk’s frame size, and
data concerning the remap area.
FRAME Set the disk’s frame size.
REMAP To change the bad block remap area. You may add blocks to the bad
block table.

Commands Function
ENTER For declaring additional blocks bad.
DISK Directs the program to the DISK DRIVE MODEL NUMBER? question. This
allows you to work on anther disk pack.
STOP Exit DKINIT program.
