Record the Bad Block information for future reference. Label the disk pack for ZEBRA systems with the date
and bad block information. No more than 20 different blocks should be marked as bad. If more than 20 are bad
the disk media should be replaced.

4. Load Microcode (MV7800 only):

5. Install Bootstrap:
SYSTEM RESET the computer and boot from LFC tape #1.

This write the bootstrap on the disk and takes only a few seconds to do.
DONE.
BOOTSTRAP DEVICE SPECIFIER?
The bootstrap load may be repeated if a mistake was made,
if not, SYSTEM RESET or HALT the computer.
6. Install RDOS and CT Software:
NOTE: For Dual Drive Systems, both Drives must be READY during software installation to have Dual Disk
operation.
a. For Argus / MV7800, you do not have to RESET computer. For Zebra, RESET the computer and boot
the Load-from-Cold tape #1 again. Tape Drive must be in HIGH Density mode.
b. On the CRT terminal, observe the following dialog and type the underlined responses.
