8-3 AutoSummary Format
An example of the AutoTest Summary File is shown below. The first portion of the file contains header
information, system name and ID, Qcal dates, etc. Any fields marked ‘not available’ indiate that this information is
not contained within th autotest.log file. These fields may be used in a future release of the software. The Slope
Phantom and Flat Phantom tables present numerical results from both phantom exams, and indicate whether the
scans pass or fail center artifact tests.
The Spot number is an indication of artifact level in the center channels. The Smudge number looks at a wider
area to determine sharp changes near iso-center. P, M, and F indicate Pass, Marginal, and Fail results for each
scan. These results are combined into an overall pass/fail result for each group of scans, and a final result for the
complete test.
NOTE: The AutoSummary Spot and Smudge numbers are not numerically equivalent to spot and smudge values
in other image analysis procedures.
