B. Usage Situations Where Appliance Power Cord Will
Be Disconnected Frequently.
Donot usean adapter plug in these situations because
disconnecting of the power cord places undue strain on
the adapter and leads to eventual failure of the adapter
ground terminal. The customer should have the 2-prong
wall receptacle replaced with a B-prong (grounding)
receptacle by a qualified electrician before using the
appliance.
Theinstallation of appliances designed for mobile
home installation must conform with the Manufactured
Home Construction and Safety Standard,Title 24 CFR,
Part3280 (formerlythe FederalStandardfor Mobile Home
Construction and Safety,Title2/4,HUD,Part 280)or,
when such standard isnot applicable, the Standard
for Manufactured Home Installations, latest edition
(Manufactured Home Sites,Communities and Set-Ups),
ANSIA225.1,latest edition, or with local codes. In Canada,
mobile home installation must be in accordance with the
current CAN/CSAZ240/IV1HMobileHome Installation Code.

• Locatedisconnect plug on the range back.
• Pinchsidesof connector and pull out of range back.

Sealany openings in the wall behind the range and
in the floor under the range when hookups are completed.
CHECK IGNITION OF SURFACE
BURNERS
Operationofall cooktopand ovenburnersshouldbechecked
after therangeandgas supplylineshavebeencarefully
checkedfor leaks.
Electric Ignition Models
Selecta top burnerknoband simultaneouslypushinand turn
to LITEposition.Youwill heara clickingsoundindicatingproper
operationof the sparkmodule.Oncethe airhasbeenpurged
from thesupplylines,burnersshouldlight within 4 seconds.
Afterburnerlights,rotate knob out of the LITEposition.Try
eachburnerinsuccessionuntil allburnershavebeenchecked.

[] CHECKIGNITION OF OVEN BURNER
Theovenis designedto operatequietlyandautomatically.
Tooperatetheoven,pressthe Bakepadandthen pressthe
numberpadsuntil 350° appearsinthe display.Touchthe
Start/On pad.After30-90 seconds,the oven burnerwill ignite
and burnuntil the settemperatureis reached.Theovenburner
willcontinueto cycleonand off asnecessaryto maintain
theovenat the temperatureindicatedbythe display.
Tocheckignitionof the broilburner,touch the Broil Hi/Lo pad
andthen the Start/On pad.After30-90 seconds,thebroil
burnerwill ignite.
Electricignition modelsrequireelectricalpower to operate.
Incaseof a poweroutage,the ovenburnersonthesemodels
cannotbe lit manuallywith a match.Gaswill not flow unless
theglowbar ishot.
Ifthe ovenisin usewhena poweroutageoccurs,the burnerwill
shutoff and cannotbe relituntilpowerisrestored.
