Be sure aft controls are off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range.
If your range is removed for cleaning, servicing or any reason, be sure the anti-tip
device is reengaged properly when the range is replaced. Failure to take this
precaution could result in tipping of the range and cause injury.
How toRemoveProtective ShippingFilmand Packaging Tape
Carefully grasp a corner of the protective
shipping fihn with yore" finge_ and slowly
peel it fl'om the appliance suHi_ce. Do
not use any shai I) itelns to remove the
fihn. Ren]ove all of the fihn befin'e using
the appliai]ce fin" the filSt time.
To assure no dalnage is done to the
filfish of the product, the safest way to
remove the adhesive fl'Oln packaging tape
on new appliances is an applicafioi] of a
household liquid dishwashing detelgent.
Apply with a soft cloth and allow to soak.
NOTE"Theadhesivemust beremoved fromall
parts. Itcannotbe removedif it is bakedon.
Control Knobs
Thecontrol knobs may be removed for easier
cleaning.

Burner Assembly
The burner asselnblies should be washed
regularly and, of COUlSe, after spillovels.
Turnall controlsoff before removingburnerparts.
The burner grates, burner heads and
burner caps can be removed fi)r easy
clealfing.
The electrode of the spark igniter is
eN)osed beyond the suYli_ce of the
burner base. X_]]en clealfing the cooktop,
be careful not to snag the electrode of
the spark iglfiter with your clealfing
cloth. Damage to the iglfiter could occur.
Toavoid snagging a cloth on thespark
igniter, leave the burner heads inplace
when cleaning the cooktop.
Be careflfl not to push in any cooktop
controls while clealfing the cooktop.
A slight electrical shock nfight result
which could cause wm to knock over
hot cookware.
X&hsh burner parts with an all-puq)ose
non-abi'asive cleaner and W[llIll water.
Soak stubborn soil. Dry theln with a
cloth--<]o not reasselnble while wet.
To reasselnble, replace the burner head
fiI_t, then the burner cap and finally the
burner grate. Be sure the pins in the
burner head are i.woperly located in the
burner base holes.
