Connecting outputs
Output functionality
Control panels have the following outputs:
Two-zone control panels have two outputs, marked OUT1 and OUT2.
Four- and eight-zone control panels have four outputs, marked OUT1, OUT2,
OUT3, and OUT4.
The function of each output is defined by the panel operating mode. See Table 4
below. All outputs are overload protected.

Output termination
All outputs require a 15 k end-of-line resistor for termination. If an output is not
used, the 15 k end-of-line resistor must be installed across the unused output
terminals.
Output polarity
All outputs are polarity sensitive. Observe polarity or install a 1N4007 diode to avoid
inverted activation issues.
Connecting the sounders
Depending on the operating mode, up to four sounder circuits can be connected. See
Table 4 above.
The sounder outputs are powered and supply 15 VDC in standby and +24 VDC
(nominal value) in alarm.
The maximum current consumption for each sounder circuit is shown
below.
Two- and four-zone control panels 250 mA
Eight-zone control panel 500 mA
The sounder outputs are supervised for short circuit and open circuit.
