Will not Auto Channel Search active channels correctly
* Check to make sure the antenna connections are secure and correct.
* Check to make sure the SignalType: CABLE/ANTENNA feature is set correctly.
* If Detect Automatically was selected for the SignalType in the Auto Channel Search menu, try using either CABLETV or
ANTENNA instead.
* May not need to auto channel search if using a cable box. Refer to the VCR Channel List or contact your cable
company for more information.
Cannot add or remove channels
* Channels must be placed in memory using the AUTO CHANNEL SEARCH feature before channels can be added or
removed from channel memory.
Tape plays back in slow motion
o Press PLAY to return to normal playback.
Cannot select channels over 69
* Cable channels over 69 can only be selected if SignalType: CABLE/ANTENNA feature is set to CABLE.
Cassette with safety tab removed does not start to play automatically
o Check to make sure the Auto Play ON/OFF feature is set to ON.
TIMER indicator flashes
. Check to make sure there is a cassette in the VCR when a timer recording is set.
* Check that the clock has been set.
On-screen menus appear in an incorrect language.
o Use the Language feature to change the on-screen display language.
