Open the radiator drain valve at the bottom of the
radiator. Drain the coolant into an approved
container.

Open the engine block drain valve and drain the
coolant into an approved container.
NOTE:
Attaching a hose to the drain valves will help
direct the coolant to the container.
STEP 11
After all the coolant has drained, close both drain
valves. Recycle or dispose of coolant in an
environmentally safe manner.

Remove the wire from the oil pressure sender on the
engine.
STEP 13

Remove the throttle linkage (1) and the fuel shut-off
solenoid wires (2) from the fuel injector pump.

Remove the throttle cable from the throttle cable
mount bracket.
