5) When the engine speed has increased, push the accel-
erator lever forward to the "IDLING" position immediate-
ly.
IMPORTANT
To protect the starter motor and the battery:
• Do not keep the starter switch key in the "START"
position for more than 10 seconds.
• If the engine fails to start, do not start the engine im-
mediately again, but set the switch to the "OFF" po-
sition and wait for approximately 30 seconds, then
start the engine again.
• Traveling or operating the machine without ade-
quate warming in cold weather may adversely affect
the machine performance.
