3) Position the sensor appropriately in the part of the mouth to be X-rayed (refer to
specic instructions for use).
The sensor must be positioned with the sensitive area facing the source of the radia-
tion. The extent of the sensitive area is delineated by the white dotted line and the
border of the “Gendex Imaging” logo on the front side of the sensor.
Use of a sensor positioning device is recommended to guarantee that the sensor
is positioned at right angles to the radiation beam and parallel to the tooth. A
positioning device is supplied with the VisualiX system.
