The events below take place when the unit goes into an alarm phase.
The alarm is registered automatically in the control system fault log-.
The fault log- contains information about the last 20 alarms.
The fault codes are explained later in this chapter.
Blowing safety valve
If a safety valve blows off:
• Press the EMERGENCY STOP button.
• If this has no effect, cut off the electric power supply with the control
switch on the front of the unit.
• In an emergency, the power supply can be cut off with the working
switch.
Send for a service technician without delay.
• An audible signal sounds.
• The process fault alarm indicator
flashes.

• The type of fault appears on the unit display in plain text.
• If the unit has a printer, the alarm text is printed out as part of the
process log.
If an alarm occurs:
Read the message on the panel.
In case of an error concerning a temperature sensor, a
pressure transducer or the Back-up battery a service
technician is to be called for.
Press button to acknoledge the
alarm, The audible signal stops and
the indication changes from
flashing to a steady light
