Driver 1 Settings (Serial Port Settings)
Driver1 is used to edit the settings of Modbus RTU/ASCII for both Master/Slave.
Click on the Driver1 Settings tab to view or edit the settings for serial Port 1.
Baud Rate, Data Size, Stop Bits, Parity are the parameters to be updated from the serial
side
Timeout:
Timeout is applicable only for Master/Client driver. It is the time for which the device will
wait for the response from external Slave device.
Delay Between Polls:
Delay between polls is applicable only for Master/Client driver. This is the delay between 2
consecutive requests.
Retry Count:
Retry count is applicable only for Master/Client driver. It is the number of times, the
'requests' will be sent by the device if it does not receive 'response' from the external slave
device. Valid values can be 1 to 10.
Slave ID:
Slave ID is applicable only for Slave/Server driver.
