the Reset (RST) key and assign a free IP address to the device from DHCP Server.
8. If DHCP is not present in the network device will go into Auto IP network to set the
static IP to device. Follow Step 1.
Problem 3:
After power on, Error LED blinks for 60 seconds and stops blinking, but cannot locate
the device in Lynx Locator.
Trouble Shooting:
1. IP mode is DHCP mode, check whether the DHCP server is present or not in the
network.
2. If DHCP server is present in the network then contact the system administrator
and check whether DHCP request from this device is configured or not.
Problem 4:
HB LED and ER LED, both are continuously ON.
Reason:
1. Device is not properly configured through Application Software
2. Firmware is not present in the Device
Trouble Shooting:
1. Reset device and observe LED indications. If same status is observed then please

Problem 5:
A. Error LED is blinking with the rate of 1 sec ON and 10 sec OFF.
Reason:
1. RST key is pressed for more than 12 sec at power ON.
Trouble Shooting:
1. This may be the indication for Reset (RST) key fail. Reset the device and confirm the
Error (ER) LED indications. If the same indication is not observed then it means that
the key was pressed for more that 12 sec at the time of power ON.
2. If the same indications are observed after reset then the Reset (RST) key has failed
and needs to be replaced.
