3.14 Multiple slope
3.14.1 Overview
The Multi Slope feature of the camera can be used to increase the dynamic
range of images taken by the camera. At a user defined time within the expos-
ure time, all pixel that exceeds a predefined value of luminosity gets its lumin-
osity reset to this value. Pixels that are smaller than this value remain
untouched. The rest of the exposure time all pixels gets exposed as usual.
The effect of this algorithm is that normally over exposed pixels are reduced in
luminosity while darker pixels keep their value. The result is an exposure with
an increased dynamic range. mini1 cameras can set one or two different
