OPERATION
Dry Steps
25. Switch the process control dial to Dry.
26. When the solvent stops dripping from the SPE cartridges, wait an
additional 10 seconds, and then switch the process control dial to SPE.
27. Unseat the manifold. Refer to page 24.
Elution Steps
28. Follow the instructions to Setup for Flow to Collection on page 23.
29. Pipette the appropriate volume of eluent into each available
SPEcartridge.
30. Switch the SPE control dial to Low Flow.
31. Turn the low flow adjustment knob clockwise until the desired flow rate
is achieved.
32. When the eluate stops dripping from the SPE cartridges, turn the
SPEcontrol dial to Off.
33. Repeat steps 28 through 32 for the appropriate number of elution steps.
34. If needed, add additional dry steps.
Final Steps
35. Eject the SPE cartridges. Refer to Ejection Plate on page 12.
36. Follow all necessary maintenance procedures after operation is
complete. Refer to Maintenance on page 31.
