2.Makesurealloftheairpressureisrelievedinthe
unit.Ifnecessary,removetheair󰘰lterforaccess
totheairregulator.
3.Removethepistoncover.

4.Removethediaphragmcoverforaccesstothe
diaphragmandtotheendofthepistonshaft.
5.Removethediaphragmandinspectforany
cracksortears.Replacethediaphragmif
necessary.
6.Carefullyremovethespringandpistonassembly,
thencleanoutanydebrisinthebodyofthe
regulator.Makesurethewiremeshisfreeof
debris.
7.Inspectthepistonanditssealforanyforeign
matterthatmayhavebeenthecauseforthe
pistontostayopen.
8.Inspectforanydamagetothepistonshaftwhere
itinteractswiththediaphragmcup.Replace
componentswithexcessivewear.
