How to fix a malfunctioning air regulator on a Graco EcoQuip 2?
    • K
      kathyrossAug 12, 2025
If the Graco Water Pump air regulator is malfunctioning, first disengage the blast control switch. Then, adjust the pump inlet air pressure regulator until the pump air pressure regulator gauge reads 100 psi. Make sure the supply air pressure is at least 100 psi and check the air inlet filters. If the issue persists, replace the pump air pressure regulator.

What to do if the pop-up on my Graco Water Pump cannot seal properly?
    • J
      Jeffrey LopezAug 17, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump pop-up cannot seal, make sure the pop-up is clean and free of any debris, especially in the o-ring sealing area. Check that the pop-up is properly aligned when closed, ensuring there are no gaps between the o-ring and the pop-up. Also, remove the o-ring to make sure the o-ring gland is clear. If the pop-up or o-ring is worn, replace it.

Why is my Graco Industrial Electrical pot unable to fill or pressurize with water?
    • S
      Sandra ClarkAug 30, 2025
If you're having trouble filling or pressurizing the Graco Industrial Electrical pot with water, first, disengage the emergency stop. Then, ensure your air compressor meets the minimum air flow requirements specified in the Technical Specifications (page 67) and that the air inlet pressure gauge reads between 100-175 psi. Also, make sure the water tank is full, the inlet ball valve is open, and the water inlet filter is clean. Check the pump air pressure regulator, and adjust it to 100 psi. Finally, ensure the pop-up is clean, properly aligned, and the o-ring sealing area is free of debris. If adjusting the water pressure regulator to 185 psi isn't possible, further service might be needed (see manual 309474).

What to do if the blast hose recoils heavily on a Graco Industrial Electrical?
    • D
Dr. Christopher Jones DDSSep 3, 2025
If the blast hose recoils heavily when you engage the blast control switch on your Graco Industrial Electrical system, it could be because the abrasive ball valve was left open during shutdown. To prevent this, follow the shutdown procedure on page 21, step 2. Alternatively, the abrasive ball valve or the pinch hose might be worn. To check, pressurize the pot, close the abrasive ball valve, and engage the blast control switch. If the pump rod is still moving, replace the abrasive ball valve or the pinch hose. For pinch hose replacement, refer to page 32.

What to do if my Graco Water Pump is unable to fill or pressurize?
    • J
      josephmelanieNov 7, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump pot won't fill or pressurize, first, ensure the emergency stop is disengaged. Then, check that your air compressor meets the system's minimum airflow requirements and that the air inlet pressure gauge reads 100-175 psi. Clean or replace air inlet filters if needed. For inadequate water supply, if you have a water tank, ensure it's full, the inlet ball valve is open, and the water inlet filter is clean. Tighten all fittings. If you have pressurized supply connections, ensure the connection is pressurized, meets pressure and flow needs, and all fittings are tight. Check the inlet water pressure regulator for proper installation and clean its screen filter. If the water pump air regulator is malfunctioning, disengage the blast control switch and adjust the pump inlet ...
