  If the Graco Paint Sprayer pump fails to operate, first check for a restricted line or inadequate air supply and ensure the valves are open. Clear any obstructions and increase the air supply. If the issue continues, inspect the fluid hose and gun for any blockages, clearing them if necessary, and ensure that the fluid hose ID is adequate. Also, check the displacement rod for dried fluid, cleaning it and keeping the wet-cup filled with Graco throat seal liquid (TSL).

  If the Graco Paint Sprayer pump operates erratically or at an accelerated speed, first refill the fluid supply and prime the pump. If the issue persists, the ball check valves or packings may be held open or worn. In this case, clear the valve and replace the packings.
