Spraying
1. Engage gun pis ton safety lock and close gun
fluid inlet valves A and B.

2. Attach gun fluid manifold. Connect gun air line.
Open ai r line valve.
3. Adjust the gun air regulator on the proportioner
control panel to desired gun air pressure. Do not
exceed 130 psi (0.2 MPa, 2 bar).
4. Set PRESSURE RELIEF/SPRAY valves (SA,
SB) to SPRAY
.
5. Check that heat zones are on and
temperatures and pressures are on target, see
Home screen, page 53
6. Verify that the engine temperature is at least up
to the minimum operation temperature range.
The fan will start running when the engine has
reached maximum temperature.
7. Open fluid inlet valves.
8. Press to start motor and pumps.
9. Check fluid pressure gauges (GA, GB) to
ensure proper pressure bal ance. If imbalanced,
reduce pressure of higher component b y
slightly
turning PRESSURE RELIEF/SPRAY
valve for that component toward PRESSURE
RELIEF/CIRCULATION
until gauges show
balanced pressures.
