Foam Resins with 245 fa Blowing
Agents
Some foam blowing agents will froth at temperatures
above 90°F (33°C) when not under pressure,
especially if agitated. To reduce frothing, minimize
preheating in a circulation system.
Changing Materials
NOTICE
Changing the material types used in your
equipment requires special attention to avoid
equipment dam age and downtime.
• When changing materials, flush the equipment
multipletimestoensureitisthoroughlyclean.
• Always clean the fluid inlet strainers after
flushing.
• Check with your material manufacturer for
chem ical compatibility.
• When changing between epoxies a n d urethanes
or polyureas, disassemble and clean all fluid
components and change hoses. Epoxies oft en
have amines on the B (harde ner) side. Polyureas
oftenhaveaminesontheB(resin)side.
