o UPnP NAT Traversal: If the router that the GXE502X is connected to supports UPnP, then
enable this option to avoid NAT Traversal issues. The GXE502X will create a “tunnel”
through which all the media packets will travel, preventing one way audio or no audio
issues. This created port range will take care of the RTP traffic.
o STUN Server ( for NAT traversal):
If the GXE502X is behind a non-symmetric NAT router, it may be necessary to use STUN to
allow GXE502X to reliably communicate via IP through the router. Enter a STUN server IP
address or domain name in the STUN Server field. For a list of public STUN servers please
refer to: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/STUN
When done, click on the Submit button to save your changes.
