Additional Kayak Panel FRUs
Replacing a 2-M/E Control Panel Fan
To replace a 2-ME Control Panel Fan, complete the following steps:
1. Safely separate the top of the control panel enclosure from the bottom
(see
Removing the Top of the Control Panel Enclosure on page 168).
2. Carefully cut any wire ties holding the fan wires, as shown in
Figure 141.
3. Using a small screw driver, release the fan wires from both sides of the
the terminal block for the fan to be replaced, as shown in
Figure 141:
a. Press down on the release mechanism through the top of the block
for each wire.
b. Pull gently on each wire away from the block.
4. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the four fan screws, as
shown in
Figure 141 with the red circles.

5. Replace the 2-M/E fan using the using the preceding instructions.
