Problems and solutions
Serial and parallel transmission
• Check that the two ends of the cable are correctly connected to the ports on the machine and the computer.
• Check that the machine is ready to receive.

The screen on the machine should display this message before you start transferring.
Serial transmission only
Nothing happens when you try to transfer :
• Check that you are using the command line for serial transfer (*).
• The computer has two serial ports, you have not indicated the correct port to transfer the file.
Check that you have plugged in the serial cable onto the serial port which you name in the command line (*).

Then the following message is displayed :
• The serial configuration of the machine is different from that of the computer. The factory is 9600 bauds, no parity, 8 data
bits, 1 stop bits. On the computer from D.O.S. type the command line :
C:\>MODE COMX:96,n,8,1, P
(X either being 1 for using serial port #1 or 2 for serial port #2).
