Won’t bend
Clean contacts or replace K2.
Is one arm of contactor stuck? Contact Greenlee for assistance.
Replace contactor K2.
Replace time delay
relay TD1.
Is there continuity across the red and
black wires of the pendant when BEND
is pressed?
Check the connections in the pendant.
Replace the switch if faulty.
For 115 VAC input, is 165 (±5) VDC
measured at the rectifier output?
Replace the rectifier.
Is 28 VAC measured across the green
wires of the transformer?
Replace the transformer unit.
Does contactor K2 move?
When BEND is pressed, is 24 VAC
(approx.) measured across the K2
coil?
Replace
contactor
K1.
Is there continuity
across the normally
closed contacts of
the auxiliary switch
on contactor K1?
• Verify circuit voltage.
• Turn switch ON.
• Isolate and replace power cord or switch.
• Use a shorter or heavier gauge extension cord.
Is 115 VAC (90 VAC minimum)
measured at rectifier input?

Replace contactor

Replace contactor K1.
Does contactor K1 move?
When UNLOAD is pressed, is 24 VAC
(approx.) measured across the K1 coil?
Replace time delay
relay TD2.
Is there continuity across the red and
black wires of the pendant when
UNLOAD is pressed?
Check the connections in the pendant.
Replace the switch if faulty.
Is 90 VAC (minimum) measured at
rectifier input?
• Connect bender to a receptacle with
the proper circuit voltage.
• Use a shorter or heavier gauge
extension cord.
