Problem Possible Cause Probable Remedy
Tool is inoperative. Dirt, contaminants, etc. in ram
area oftool.
Clean tool.
Tool components worn or
damaged.
Return tool to a Greenlee Authorized Service Center.
Tool loses oil. Damaged internal seal. Return tool to a Greenlee Authorized Service Center.
Failure to retract Pressure valve in closed
position
Open pressure valve.
Stuck drawstud Over-tightened Bottom tool out (do not apply pressure after ram travel
stops) and use hex key to back drawstud out.
