24. Changing the free-arm cover
Removal:
● Remove the detachable work support (accessory box) by pulling it to the left.
● Lay the machine with its back on the table (fig. 23).
● Turn out both screws 69.
● Turn out the tree screws 70 and remove the baseplate.
● Turn out both screws 68 (fig. 24).
● Remove the free-arm cover.
Refitting:
● Fit the free-arm cover onto the free-arm properly.
● Insert and tighten both screws 68.
● Fit the baseplate under the machine properly.
● Insert and tighten the five screws.
