12.3 Test run
The function of the pressure switch must be tested during a test
run.
Do not leave the pump room during the test run.
Observe all operating and fault indications as the
pump set does not stop automatically in case of
fault.
In the following description of the test run, it is
assumed that the fire pump set was previously in
automatic mode.
Step Illustration
1. Set the selector switch
to "Test" by means of
the key.
2. Open the isolating valve of the test pipe.
3. Start the pump by
pressing [P1].
4. Stop the pump by
pressing [Stop].
5. Start the fire pump set
by pressing [P2].
6. Switch off the pump again, as described in section
12.2 Manual operation.
After stopping, the pump set returns to automatic
mode.
