It is recommended to use good quality fuel, with parameters as close as possible to those
recommended by the manufacturer, to ensure consistent performance levels. The use of
diesel with percentages of biodiesel, potentiate the development of organic / fungi. The
presence of these organic / fungi, causes damage to the pumping system and fuel
injection. Grupel, indicates the analysis of the fuel every 3 months, to detect presence of
water, and / or organic / fungi. Any damage caused to the generator sets related to the use
of this type of fuel will be considered as misuse and consequent loss of warranty.
In this type of controller, the fuel alarm will appear through the shape , without
identifying the type of alarm. In this case, the module detects that an auxiliary input, which
has been configured by the user to create a fault condition, has become active.
Due to the specific needs of each client, it is possible to provide deposits separately.
However, this manual only describes fuel tanks mounted on a bedplate/support base.
All generators have a fuel tank equipped with a float and its fuel sensor, which makes it
easier to identify the amount of fuel inside.
The function of the buoy is to measure the amount of fuel in the tank, this information is
transmitted to the controller, which in turn allows the user to know the fuel quantity.
Depending on the type of controller installed, the information can be displayed in percent-
age or in liters. The minimum fuel limit is factory set on the controller, considering the
different types of floats that can be associated with it.
When the low fuel level is reached, a warning alarm is issued, which is not programmed to
stop the group. The group will stop automatically only if the fuel shortage is reached.
WHEN ADDING FUEL, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THERE IS AN AREA FOR FUEL
EXPANSION.
