After starting up the generator, performing the generic maintenance described in this
manual is essential, as well as the specific information provided by the supplier about its
various components (engine, alternator, etc.).
Please pay special attention to the safety instructions in order to avoid occurrence of
accidents, incidents or property damage.
Ensure that all preventive or corrective maintenance operations are performed by techni-
cians who have been properly certified and trained in operation/maintenance of the
generator.
Grupel and its Distributors support its customers, not only guaranteeing the delivery of all
the technical information necessary for the correct maintenance of the generators, but
also in the supply of consumable parts, and the presentation of maintenance/improve-
ment proposals.

Please note that the compliance with the instructions and maintenance intervals will
condition the term of the equipment warranty. If the generator is used in extreme condi-
tions, adjust the periodicity accordingly.
Also, but not only for this reason, it is essential to record and save the maintenance activi-
ties performed. At the end of this manual is a suggested format for recording maintenance
activities.
In the event of a failure, those same records should be made available, not only to facilitate
their diagnosis, but also evaluate and eventual guarantee assignment.
