2.3 Cleaning accessories
The machine comes with three packets of a special descaling
agent to maintain your machine, a brush and a spiral cleaning
needle, as well as a small black cleaning cloth.
3. GETTING STARTED
3.1 Installing the machine
• Do not install the machine in damp rooms
• Place the machine on a flat, dry, stable surface.
• Do not place the machine near a sink, for example.
• Do not place the machine on hot surfaces.
• Do not place the machine on or near a gas or electric
burner or in a hot oven.
• Lay the power cord so that it cannot be damaged by hot
edges or surfaces.
3.2 Plugging in the machine
Observe the following instructions:
Check that the mains voltage matches the operating voltage
specified in the technical specifications (see section 9.
Technical specifications). Only plug your machine into
a power point that complies with current electrical standards.
3.3 First use of the machine
IMPORTANT : Before using for the first time, clean all the
accessories (External drip tray, Stainless steel grate, Internal
drip tray, Coffee grounds container, water tank and all the
milk accessories ) : See sections 5.1.1 / 5.1.3/ 5.1.4 - A & B).
1. Remove any protective film, labels or other packaging
from the machine.
2. Choose a flat, stable surface with an easily accessible
electrical socket and leave a minimum of space at the
sides of the machine.
3. Insert the external drip tray. Make sure you insert
it correctly.
