10. WARRANTY
The warranty is linked to the product and not to the buyer.
The ‘CANOFEA®’ automatic coffee machine, Espresso bean grinder by Guy Demarle is warranted for 2 years against any
manufacturing defects. In order to benefit from the CANOFEA® warranty, the Customer must possess the warranty card
in order to contact Guy Demarle’s After Sales Service, who will inform them of the procedure to follow to return the product.
No return will be accepted without the prior agreement of Guy Demarle’s After-Sales Service, this agreement being expressed
by the dispatch to the Customer of a prepaid Colissimo return label.
Warranty exclusions
Indirect damage, financial or otherwise, suffered by the customer during or following an accident.
Consumable parts or parts whose ageing is considered normal by Guy Demarle, and more generally,
normal wear and tear of the Product that does not lead to non-functioning or unsuitability for the initial use ;
Defects resulting from the customer’s decision to modify the characteristics of the Product themselves or to have them
modified by a third party ;
Defects whose cause is not related to the Product or its components.
Products used for professional, commercial or institutional purposes;
Abnormal wear and tear or damage due to an incident in transport or handling, a mistake, an accident, a natural event
(lightning, water damage, etc.) or any other external cause, a lack of supervision or maintenance.
Insufficient maintenance.
Insufficient descaling (light on) or insufficient manual rinsing (coffee circuit clogged).
Forced opening of the machine, drawer or forced removal of components (percolator, coffee grounds container)
before the end of the machine cycle.Chute ou choc.
Fouling of any kind (flow meter, circuit, etc.) from coffee powder, milk, liquid, syrup, etc.
Fall or shock.
Electrical shock or flooding.
Non-domestic use.
Introduction (deliberately or unintentionally) of anything other than roasted coffee beans into the grinder: coffee powder,
milk powder, liquid, metal or plastic screws, paper, plastic film, green coffee, caramelised coffee, grinder blocked by
any object, etc.
Introduction (deliberately or unintentionally) of anything other than clear water (and/or the recommended descaler)
into the tank or tank connector area of the machine: coffee powder, milk, liquid, syrup, etc. Fouling of the flow meter.
Failure to clean the grinder outlet channel.
Missing, lost or broken part.
Failure to degrease the percolator grate.
Subjective opinion of the customer on the quality or taste of the coffee.
