5. Press the Foam button , Only the button lights up
to indicate that the beverage is being prepared. The
Foam button remains lit, and the light indicates that
the machine is preparing the beverage. The machine
dispenses milk first and then coffee. The preparation of
your milk-based beverages needs few seconds before
the machine is started.
WARNING: Steam and hot milk may escape from the nozzle
at the start of the beverage preparation process. Wrap the
milk connection hose around the stainless steel milk jug lid
after use - never leave the hose hanging down.
6. The preparation process will stop automatically.
TIPS: If you wish to stop your beverage sooner, press
the ‘Milk Foam’ button again during the operation.
7. Place your stainless steel milk jug in the refrigerator once
you have finished preparing your beverage.
8. After each use, refer to section 5.1.4 Milk accessories
to clean your milk system.
4.8 Preparing your hot water
1. Turn on the unit by pressing the ON/OFF button. The
machine is now in standby mode. Make sure that the
external drip tray and its stainless steel grate are properly
positioned and that the water tank is full. As soon as
the machine is switched on, it automatically rinses itself
using approximately the same amount of water as a small
coffee cup.
2. Place a cup under the spout.
3. The machine can provide hot water by simply pressing
the Hot Water button . The Hot Water button you
pressed remains on and the light indicates that the
machine is dispensing water.
4. The preparation process will stop automatically.
TIPS: If you wish to stop your beverage sooner, press the
‘Hot Water’ button again during the operation.
WARNING: Only use the continuous hot water function
for a maximum of one water tank.
4.9 Changing the beverage settings before and
during preparation
Your machine allows you to customise your beverage by
saving your preferences.
SETTING THE VOLUME OF: YOUR
ESPRESSO/LUNGO/HOT WATER
AND MILK FOAM
You can save the volume of your beverage, from 25 ml*
to about 250 ml (*if the amount is less, the saving function
will not work).
1. Place a cup under the spout.
2. Turn on the machine. All the buttons will light up.
3. Press the button of the beverage you wish to save. Only
the selected button will remain lit. Release your finger.
4. When the beverage (coffee, hot water, milk foam) starts
to flow into your cup continuously, press the button for
the selected beverage again and keep your finger pressed
down until the desired amount of liquid is reached,
and then release your finger.
5. Two beeps will sound to indicate that the water volume
is saved for the next time.
TIPS: If 2 beeps do not sound, repeat the procedure, taking
care to follow the 5 steps of the saving process.
SETTING THE VOLUME OF YOUR
CAPPUCCINO AND LATTE MACCHIATO
You can save the volume of your milk-based beverage, from
25 ml* to about 250 ml (*if the amount is less, the saving
function will not work). This step allows the milk and coffee
volumes to be adjusted independently for each beverage
(Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato).
1. Place a cup under the spout.
2. Turn on the machine. All the buttons will light up.
3. Press the button for the beverage you want (Cappuccino
or Latte Macchiato ). Only the selected button will
remain lit. Release your finger.
STEP 1 : When the MILK starts flowing into your cup
continously, press and hold the button for the selected
beverage again. The machine will continue preparing the
