Safety instructions
Batteries
• Observe the operating manuals and safety instructions provided by the
battery manufacturer! The operating manual is enclosed with the battery.
• Only use the Hako charger supplied to charge the battery.
• Make sure that the batteries are never fully discharged; recharge them as
quickly as possible.
• Only instructed operating staff must handle and change batteries.
• Risk of explosion! Do not heat up the battery or place it in a fire.
• Do not drop or damage the battery.
• Caution! Always make sure that the batteries are clean and dry to avoid
creeping currents. Protect the batteries, in particular, against conductive
contamination, e.g. metal dust.
• Risk of short circuits and spark formation! Do not touch the battery
terminals with metal objects and do not insert metal objects through
openings in the battery!
• Risk of short circuit! During storage, keep the battery away from metal
objects such as paper clips, coins, nails or similar.
• If liquid escapes from the battery or there is a strange smell, remove the
battery from all heat sources or flames! There is a risk of fire or breakage
if the escaping liquid or gas ignites.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
