INTERFERENCES
Interference may be caused by:
For alkaline samples, neutralize before adding reagents. The pH of the sample after addition of
reagents should be about 2.
Intensely colored samples will cause interference, therefore they should be adequately treated before
performing the test. Suspended matter in large amount should be removed by prior filtration.
