CHLORINE DIOXIDE
• Press the Zero key. The display will show “‑0.0‑” when the meter is zeroed and ready for
measurement.
• Fill second cuvette (#2) with 10 mL of the reacted sample (up
to the mark) and replace the cap.
• Insert the sample into the instrument and close the lid.
• Press Read to start the reading. The instrument displays the results in mg/L of chlorine
dioxide (ClO
2
).
SAMPLING PROCEDURE
It is recommended to analyze chlorine dioxide samples immediately after collection. Chlorine
Dioxide samples must be stored in sealed dark glass bottle, with minimal head space. Excessive
heat (above 25 °C /77 °F), agitation and exposure to light must be avoided.
INTERFERENCES
Interferences may be caused by strong oxidants.
