Whileadjustmentsarebeingmade,theredLED
undertheAVRSelector_ willflashThisis
normal,andindicatesthatEzSetisoperating

procedureReturntoStep2 andadjustthemaster
volumeeitherslightlyhigheror lowertoaccommodate
yourparticularroomlayoutandyourtastesYoumay
repeatthisprocedureasmanytimesasnecessaryto
achievea desiredresult,Inorderto preventpossible
damagetoyourhearingoryourequipment,we
emphasizethatyoushouldavoidsettingthemaster
volumeaboveOdB

andtheAVR'sinternaltesttonewillbeginto circulate
fromspeakerto speakerinaclockwisedirectioninto
allspeakersThetestnoisewillplayfortwosecondsin
eachspeakerbeforecirculating,anda blinkingon-
screencursorwillappearnexttothenameof each
speakerlocationwhenthesoundisatthatspeake_
NOTE:Rememberto verifythatthespeakershave
beenproperlyconnectedAsthetestnoisecirculates,
listento makeceflainthatthesoundcomesfromthe
speakerpositionshownintheMain Information
Display[] Ifthesoundfromaspeakerlocation
doesNOTmatchthepositionindicatedinthedisplay,
turntheAVR525 offusingtheMain PowerSwitch
[] andcheckthespeakerwiringor connectionsto
externalpoweramplifierstomakeceflainthateach
speakerisconnectedto thecorrectoutputterminal
Aftercheckingforspeakerplacement,letthetest
noisecirculateagain,andlistento seewhichchannels
soundlouderthantheothersUsingthefrontleft
speakerasa reference,pressthe4/• Buttons
_ ontheremoleto bringallspeakerstothe
samevolumelevelWhenoneofthe4/• Buttons
_ ispushed,thetestnoisecirculationwill
pauseonthechannelbeingadjustedto giveyoutime
tomaketheadjustmentWhenyoureleasethebullon,
thecirculationwillresumeafterfiveseconds
Continueto adjusttheindividualchannelsuntilthe
volumelevelsoundsthesamefromeachspeaker
Adjustmentsshouldbemadewiththe4/• Buttons
qi_},_lP ontheremoteonly NO1themainvolume
controlsIfyouareusinga soundpressurelevel(SPL)
meterfor preciseleveladjustment,setthevolumeso

theLEDlightsgreenforallchannelsWhenitisred,the
levelistoohigh;whenitisamber,thelevelistoolow
PresstheSPI_SelectorButton_ whenyouare
finishedto turnthesensorandindicatoroff
NOTE:lhe subwooferlevelisnotadjustablewhenthe
normaltesttoneisinuselhe subwooferoutputlevel
mayalsobeadjustedwhenthechannellevelsare

Whenallchannelshaveanequalvolumelevel,the
adjustmentiscompletelo exitthismenu,pressthe
A/• Buttons_ untiltheon-screen cursoris
nexttothe BACK TO MASTER MENU line,
andthenpresstheSet Button_ to returntothe
MASTER MENU
