INSTALLATION WITH SWING-AWAY
OPTIMIZING HITCH HEIGHT
Y
ou can vary the lift height by changing the Hitch Adapter’s orientation and
location. This helps you optimize the vehicle’s ground clearance to ensure
that the platform lays flat on the ground when it reaches the end of its
travel.
Consult Figure 23-1 to select the orientation needed for the vehicle based on
the Hitch Height, that is, the vehicle’s hitch receiver distance to the ground.
