Operating Your Lift
SWING-AWAY
The Swing-Away allows you to easily swing the
installed auto lift away from the back of the
vehicle for convenient access to the trunk or lift
gate. The Swing-Away option can be purchased
from an authorized dealer and added at any time.
NOTE: Two Swing-Away mod
els are available,
a standard AL105 and the lightweight
AL105L. They work basically the same way
but the parts differ slightly as noted in
[Figure 6-3].

NEVER open the Swing-Away
with the chair on the lift.
You will damage the Swing-
Away and the lift. It will
potentially damage the vehicle
and the chair. Any of these
actions will VOID your warranty.

OPENING THE SWING-AWAY
1. Remove Safety Pin [Figure 6-3]
2. Pull
T-Handle [Figure 6-4]

Grasp the lift rmly and swing it out, away
from the vehicle. The Swing-Away can be
opened up to 180 degrees from the closed
position to allow full access to the
vehicle’s cargo area. [Figure 6-5]
