Slightly loosen the three tuning capacitor mounting screws on the detector
circuit
board.

Place
the
pushbutton
knob
onto
the
shaft of the pushbutton
switch.
Press
the knob firmly until it is completely seated
on
the
shaft.

Place the unit right-side up on a work
surface
as shown. Then, slightly
move the detector
circuit
board
either forward or rearward
to center the
pushbutton
switch
knob in its
top
panel opening.

) Be
sure the bottom edge of the detector circuit board is parallel
to
the
work surface as shown. Then
tighten
the three capacitor mounting screws.

Bend the tip of tuning capacitor lug

close
to
the circuit board foil.
Solder the lug
to
the foil; then
cut
the excess lug off close
to
the foil.

Recheck the switch knob and be sure it operates up and down freely.
