CAUTION:
Do
not
use
too
much
solder
when
pre-
paring
the
push-on
connectors
in
the
next
step.
If
too
much
solder
is
used,
it
will
flow
into
the
rolled
end
of
the
connector
and
make
it
impos-
sible
to
install
on
the
speaker
lugs
later.

push-on
connectors
on
the
free
ends
of
the
large
red
and
large
black
wires
extending
from
grom-
met

Twist
the
wire
strands
together
on
each
lead
of
the
line
cord.
Then
melt
a
small
amount
of
solder
on
each
of
the
twisted
wires
to
hold
the
strands
together.

of
the
line
cord
through
hole

Connect
either
line
cord
lead
to
lug
1
(S-2)
and
the
other
lead
to
lug
2
of
AC
socket

Lug
2
will
be an
(S-4)

small
line
cord
strain
relief
in

SLOT.

all
control
shafts
fully
counterclock-
wise.
Install
a
knob
on
each
control
shaft.
Position
each
knob
pointer
to
the
0
mark,
and
then
tighten
the
knob
setscrew
against
the
control
shaft.
This
completes
the
wiring
of
the
chassis
assem-
bly.
Check
all
wiring
and
solder
connections
carefully.
Be
sure
there
are
no
solder
bridges
between
the
foils
of
the
circuit
board.
Set
the
chassis
assembly
aside
until
it
is
called
for
later.

one
nut

from
each

the
two

button
switches.
